Quick Writing #2 (The “excerpt” from the book I’m writing.)

And as a single tear ran down her cheek, she looks at him for comfort as he dismissed the room in abandondment. Captivated in his return, she bolts out the room dissolving her face in tears and as she reached her hand for the door, he whispers in her ear, tranquilly expressing his love towards her. “Your tears make me want to adjust life just so that I could no longer suffer seeing you hurt” She slowly grabs his face as he continues. “I want to be the only one to get the chance to see how amazing you truly are and if I could be anything in this world, I would be, without a doubt, the tear that slowly runs down your cheek and softly brushes your lips in comfort. I can’t imagine living life without you in my arms every night. And you wanna know something? Even when we fight, I still feel like the luckiest man in the world.” 

She was speechless. The way he whispered into her ear was like nothing she’d ever heard before. She smiles but somehow, another tear falls. He wipes her tear with one finger. He’s yet to finish, “And believe it or not, my favorite part of the day is when you forget to close the door and I watch you dance because Ooo the temptation”. She laughs at the humerous trait she always loved about him. He sensed that wall, the wall of protection, was coming down and was slowly revealing the part of her that one had to earn respect from before meeting. For at that moment, the world was full of wonder. Her fingers, eager to touch, reach for the buttons on his shirt and slowly, she begins to undo them one by one.
